points/ideas (i.e., Bullet Points).
d) Author’s Argument- discuss the coherent
series of reasons, statements, or facts intended to support or establish the
point of view of the author. (In other words, what is the author trying to
say?)
e) Context or Connections/Links- either
discuss why the author wrote this piece? Who is the author arguing against? OR
Link the article you chose to other readings from this week’s class.
f) Thoughts/feedback/opinion/evaluations-
discuss whether you agree with the argument or not & what you like-dislike
about the reading. In addition, did the reading contribute to your
understanding of the historic era?
