Leisure hotels Ltd is a UK chain of 25 boutique hotels offering leisure based holidays in scenic areas of the UK. It attracts premium customers and all hotels include a spa and high class dining. To expand it has recently acquired a European hotel group which has hotels in France, Spain, Portugal and Italy and it has plans to expand to other countries in Europe and the Middle East. You have been called in as a consultant to advise on their expansion plans and how best to manage the acquisition.

Consider both the external legal, economic and social context and the internal and cultural context. What are the main challenges that Leisure Hotels might face and what would your recommendations be to mitigate these?
