Congratulations on being awarded the Hometown High School (HHS) Promise Scholarship! It is our joy to say this. The HFCU and HHS committee will work together to award a 5000 USD Association Scholarship that is renewable for a maximum of 12 months. This scholarship must be renewed by the deadline for the yearly competition, and it is partially based on your application and success in the scholarship essay you wrote about your academic majors. A diploma will also be given out during the HHS awards ceremony, which will occur the week before graduation. The Hometown Daily News will get a news release from HFCU that will preferably include a photo of you during the awards event. However, before anything can start, we will need a few particular details from you, such as your social security number and the name of the institution you want to attend, to file the right paperwork for tax purposes and to communicate with the financial aid office at your student's college
