Notice that the "Quote Sandwich" structure can also be used for paraphrased material. In other words, you can and should create "Paraphrase Sandwiches" when introducing and explaining source material in paraphrased form, too.

directions: Create a peeel body paragraph that includes one credible source introduced and cited in the body of the paragraph using the Quote Sandwich format with an appropriate in-text citation. Please also include a properly formatted Works Cited bibliography entry for your source. Remember that you can also read about how to construct a Works Cited entry in A Pocket Style Manual, starting on page 145.
