Revisit the
writer you were early in the semester. Has your conception of writing shifted
from the beginning of the semester? Why/why not? -How has your conception of
writing process changed? What have you learned about writing this semester?
Please identify some specific things you’ve learned, no matter how big or
small. Then, please link it (hyperlinks are perfect) to specific evidence that
demonstrates this learning (this could be from anything we’ve done in class).
-All university students are supposed to meet the following
university-level outcome: “Writing – Write effectively in multiple contexts,
for a variety of audiences.” What have you learned about this university
learning outcome in English 101? -What connections do you anticipate between
the writing strategies you’ve worked with in English 101 and 102? Be as
specific as possible. If you only remember two things about writing from English
101 as you move toward English 102, what should you remember
and why?
Upon reflection of my trip
through English 101, from the start of the semester, my understanding and
writing style have definitely changed significantly. At first, all I thought
writing was about was composition and grammar. But as the semester went on, I
realized that writing is a much wider spectrum that combines creativity,
audience awareness, and intentional communication. The development of my
writing process and idea in English 101, which includes audience awareness,
evidence-based organization, and iterative refining, shows a notable shift in
how to approach various writing contexts effectively.
