Theodore Bundy, a notorious convicted serial killer, escaped police custody twice, and his last escape led to two more victims. Therefore, it is essential to analyze his past criminal activities and modus operandi to understand his criminal career.Before he became a serial killer, Theodore engaged in other crimes. According to Williams (2020), he engaged in theft to feed his desire for thrills, which later drove him to commit heinous murder crimes against women. Although Bundy mostly stole for the thrill, he reportedly stole out of necessity while on the run in Tallahassee due to insufficient finances (Williams, 2020). The other crime Ted engaged in other than theft was rape. Williams (2020) highlights that he substituted his desire to kill with rape in one instance. Generally, pleasure and thrill were the drivers of most of Bundy's crime.
