For example, when purchasing an item, one has to negotiate to purchase at a relatively fair price by convincing the seller to lower their initial pricing. Negotiation could result in both the individuals involved winning or one of the parties losing. For instance, when selling a used car, I must prepare in advance by researching current costs, finance challenges, BATNA, reservation points, and ZOPA to convince the buyer.
