Using
the book "Sister Carrie" by Theodore Dreiser to help lead a research
paper on the topic. A couple examples from the book for each
paragraph would be nice. I will include pictures of my notes for the book.
A case study on "Sister
Carrie" has various characters that enable readers to deduce whether
there's a correlation between money and love. Carrie, an 18-year-old when she
moved into the big city, has an ambition of making wealth from the onset.
However, during her time in the city, she meets men who shape our ideas of the
correlation between love and money and the motivations behind companionship. Viewing
Carrie's story and her interaction with men in her life, we can investigate and
perhaps conclude if, at all, love equates to money.
