PROPOASL ARGUMENT: Proposal Argument (Words: 2800-3200) ***Essays should be saved as Microsoft Word Documents and uploaded as an attachment. Essays submitted in the submission area will not be graded. PDFs and Pages documents cannot be graded. Establish that there is a problem/need that should be addressed and create a project/plan to solve the problem. Include a claim, background information/history, description of the problem, details of the possible solution, possible objections to the solution, response to the objections, and benefits of your solution. Using the following list of questions as a foundation, write a proposal in which you offer strategies to solve a specific, localized specific problem addressing a specific demographic. Proof of a problem? How did the problem arise? Who is affected? How are they affected? Why should we attempt to solve the problem? What other attempts have been made and have failed or have been successful? How should we attempt to solve the problem? In what ways would people disagree with your solution? What is your response to opposition? What are the benefits of your proposal? 28-Year History of HIV-1 Drug Resistance and Transmission in Washington, DC.” Frontiers
in Microbiology, vol. 10, 2019, doi:10.3389/fmicb.2019.00369.
Washington DC has been
registering a high annual increment in new HIV infections for the past ten
years. The study helps illustrate the various dynamics in HIV transmission in
Washington DC. It involves coupling the sequences of HIV data with clinical records
relating to sex, subtype, viral load, risk factor, race, and antiretroviral
regimen to determine the possibility of drug-resistant mutations (DRM) and
persistence of the virus. This source is critical in analyzing HIV infection in
Washington as it provides background data on risk factors, viral load,
subtypes, sex, antiretroviral regimen, and the most affected race. This data is
crucial in designing prevention measures to curb the spread of HIV.
