Part
2: Critical review (1 page) Each group members will submit an individual
critical discussions on the potential limitations, and/ or ethical issues of
the proposed research proposal. Possible recommendations to supplement
the comments and critical review are expected wherever appropriate. The
reflective review section is expected to be not more than 1 A4 page for each
member (single-lined spacing, with or without reference).
This research aims to evaluate
anxiety symptoms (H5), stress (H6),
depression symptoms (H4), symptoms of ADHD (H3), and self-criticism (H2)
in the intervention group. Most academic studies suggest that group therapy
reduces ADHD symptoms. This is observed in ADHD patients with poor
self-perception as it causes self-criticism and concern as individuals view
things from a more negative perspective. Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) reduces
ADHD-related depression and anxiety, making it a promising solution.
