Stress
and alcohol intake are pervasive issues within the United States, each with
profound implications for public health. While there is a widespread frame of
studies on both topics individually, the complex relationship between stress
and alcohol intake remains inadequately understood. Individuals recognize that stress
is a familiar circumstance in the United States, with different factors
contributing to its prevalence, which include work-related stress, economic pressure,
and personal life challenges. Likewise, alcohol consumption is widespread, with
various levels of frequency among adults elderly 18-65. However, what individuals
do not recognize is how stress levels relate to the frequency of alcohol intake
and the capacity repercussions of this affiliation on public health (Wolkowisz
et al., 2022).
