1. What is the official name and legal citation of the social policy being studied?
2. When was the social policy enacted or established and when, if ever, was it significantly modified?
3. What historical factors, values, and assumptions underlie this policy? Are these values compatible with the ethics and values of the social work profession?
4. What conditions, problems, or needs does this social policy address (e.g., violence, poverty, homelessness, addictions, unemployment)?
5. Which type of social policy best describes the social policy you are studying?
6.Based on your observations and experiences in your practicum site, is this social policy doing what it is supposed to do? If not, why?
7. How could this social policy better address the needs of those it is designed to assist (e.g., fill gaps in services, coordinate with related programs, increase funding, and change eligibility criteria)?
8. What would it take to actually change this policy (e.g., legislation, amendments, coalition building, or lobbying)?
9. Does one political party support this policy more than another,
