Overview:
Using the brainstorming process, you will be creating a conceptual portrait of
yourself. You must conceptually convey yourself through a designed artwork. The
piece must showcase both a strength and a weakness. You must also use the
brainstorming process to arrive at your approved concept. As the success of
your project relies heavily on your integration of semiotics, research will be
a large portion of the project. These phases will include word lists,
brainstorm sheets, and thumbnail sketches before delving into the finished
piece. The catch: You may not use any imagery of yourself. Instead, the use of
semiotics should be prominent in your design. You may use polls, focus groups,
and other means to gather outside information to assist in your process and

This paper uses the SAM prototype to understand the
iteration process in analyzing the final training program dimension. After the
prototypes are selected, the successive version can be drawn down for analysis.
The focus is on improving the course of action on the successive version in
