1:In the Indeed articles, Jennifer Herrity discuss that a resume is distinct
from Curriculum Vitae (CV). Herrity (2022) defines a resume as a brief document
that avails a summary of a person's education, skills, and work experience. She
posits that a resume is tailored for specific job opportunity applications.
Resumes are limited to one or two pages, and are commonly used in Canada and
the United States. CV on the other hand, are comprehensive documents that
encompass a detailed account for a person's academic background, relevant
research experience, publications, and respective achievements they have made
in the due course (Herrity, 2022). CVS
are applicable in academic, research fields, and international contexts. Unlike
resumes, a CV is characterized by a number of pages and people do not tailor
them for a specified job application.
