Expert Solution

Question 1:Prejudice based on race will never be eradicated from society. But since it sustains the unfair benefits of some and imposes unfair limitations on others, it must be able to detect and deal with it (Paluck et al., 2021). As a result, various tactics are needed to address the racial prejudice issue in the community. Spreading the notion of diversity, inclusion, and equality in the workplace, recognizing and modifying exclusive rules and upholding the current quo, and holding public forums and activities to raise consciousness regarding racial bias are some of them (Munger, 2017). In terms of actions one may do at work to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion, one should actively seek out and hire employees of other races and ethnicities. Starting with representation from a range of groups is crucial. In addition, practices that are exclusive and uphold the status quo can be recognized and altered. Making people feel an integral member of their community may be used to apply this in neighborhood interactions, which may assist in lessening racial bias (Box, 2023). Reducing discriminatory practices requires addressing redlining when a financial institution forcibly denies or limits loans to specific parts of a community. But even if the solutions described above are essential for resolving the issue of racial bias in society, holding open forums and events is the one I suggest. This is justified because it will spread knowledge and lessen racial prejudice. Developing a clear plan and collaborating with cross-sector leaders can help one's community progress toward a more long-lasting anti-racism campaign (Box, 2023). Therefore, out of three options, using public forums and activities to raise awareness about racial bias is the one that is advised.
