Answer the following questions:
1. transfer your work directly into your final assessment report. Use the SDG title and question as the heading for the work.
6.1 Critical analysis of the issue (400 words) The critical analysis is a 400-word critical literature review based on in depth use of selected readings from this week’s TRP. You should show what is important to you by how you use your references rather than expressing your own opinion directly. We are looking for depth of understanding. We recommend four TRP readings as a minimum. Thinking about what can go wrong (for example how you would deliver your recommendations on your own or what happens when a partnership collapses) as well as the best practice you have learned through your study can help you think through your answer. Remember that including evidence from the best practice case studies included within the teaching can help you support the point you are making.
6.2 Current Status How does your organisation currently respond to this issue? (75 words)
6.3 Recommendations Use extended bullet
points to outline your top three recommendations for your organisation. Based
on your learning this week, what could your organisation do to improve its
practice? Your recommendations should include specific actions, and be
referenced to specific ideas from your learning. Try to include positive ideas
for change rather than just doing less harm. You should reference the
specific source of your ideas from the learning (150 words in total).
6.1.Critical DiscussionGlobal partnerships are
crucial for sustainable development because they enhance diverse perspectives
and expertise from different stakeholders. Through partnerships, organizations
can diversify their functions and platforms as far as sustainable development
is concerned. According to Tennyson (2011), single-sector approaches have been
previously tried and have proved unsuccessful as there is competition between
sectors which has also led to the development of isolation. Due to the
competition among the various sectors, valuable resources have been wasted and
depleted in the long run. Therefore, partnerships are crucial for sustainable
development as they provide new and vibrant opportunities for better
development. They recognize the qualities and competitiveness of other sectors
and encourage collaboration among them.
