Case Analysis: Sriracha Exec Student, execstu@aubg.edu Organizational Design and Management, Dr. McGuire May 21, 2022

Content Suggestions for Case Analyses:State the Problem. Begin your paper with a statement of the main problem. This should not be an exhaustive list of everything that is wrong. Instead, it should be one or two central issues around which all else is organized. To do this you will have to a) combine related problems, and b) establish priorities. You will not be able to address everything in your case analysis. Be concise.. Organize the facts into a coherent whole as if you were presenting evidence to persuade a skeptic. Clearly state any assumptions that you've made. Provide evidence from the case to support your analysis. (Use quotations from the case or evidence elsewhere.) Analyze the problem using a conceptual model from the readings or lectures. Apply the model fully and explicitly; don't "cherry pick." Cite your sources.Draw a Conclusion and provide recommendations for Action. In this section, provide the results of your analysis. What are your main conclusions? What should be done next? Not all cases call for action. However, most at least call for "what you would have done in this situation." Be specific. Provide specific recommendations that logically follow from your analysis.Cite your Sources. Provide a list of references, even if only the case study itself.

A proper case analysis is short (2 to 3 pages) and applies a conceptual model(s) to the issues presented in a case. Papers should be well organized and well written, and comply with the following format requirements:

Number the pages. In the footer, provide your name and the page number.

As in all good business papers, you should impose structure on your case analysis - divide it into relevant sections. For each section, provide a header (in bold font or underlined).

As appropriate, include tables and/or charts. (You may exceed 3 pages if you include tables as attachments.)

Cite your sources, either in footnotes or using parenthetical citations, and provide a reference list at the end of your paper.

Check your work before handing it in. Avoid grammar and spelling mistakes. On the top of the first page of the document, provide a title, your name and email address, the course number and title, the professor's name, and the date. For example:

Huy Fong Foods is an operational sauce company that has been in the market for a long time. It has established its position by providing quality goods to its clientele. For a long while, there have not been any issues or concerns in the company's operations. With time, however, the company grew as the demand for chili sauces continued to increase. The management of the brand could no longer be able to meet the demand by filling the chili sauces manually. This led to establishing a processing plant that allowed them to manufacture more sauces. They also had to meet the demand for the sauces by contracting suppliers that would bring the raw materials for the sauces.
