I became thoroughly
engrossed in the short drama Zombie Love by Earle Roske, given the scenarios it
portrays where the exploitation of society's dualities is heavily instanced
throughout the film. This can be due to the drama's focus on the tale of a special
connection into which a friend steps in, hoping to jolt Emily back to reality
since love is blind (pantheater1, 2012). Since my earlier experiences had
always centered around blind love, when I was completely absorbed in it, and
reality appeared more like a dream, I could identify with this concept. I would
make up fantasies and perceive the world through those (pantheater1, 2012). We
all do this to escape from the depressing truth of life, especially when it
involves love.
