Children from Divorced Parents

This research will utilize a qualitative approach because it focuses on social concerns. It aims to comprehensively explore the subjective experiences of children and adolescents from divorced families. The study will explore their feelings, experiences, and viewpoints in their own words; hence the qualitative approach is appropriate because it allows for a fuller comprehension of the research question. The research will culminate in understanding the impact of divorce on their well-being, overall development, and relationships. The research will involve data collection through interviews with children and adolescents from divorced parents. The questions used will be open-ended with the utilization of probing for more details. Self-designed semi-structured interview schedules will guide this proves to ensure the interview process is spontaneous ad orderly (Dykes & Ward, 2022). The collected data will be subjected to thematic analysis to classify the data into themes and subthemes and identify the most prominent themes.
