I
The global climate is expected to keep changing in this century onwards. The magnitude of this change depends significantly on the amount of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emitted worldwide. With significant reductions in GHG emissions, the annual global temperature rise could be limited. Otherwise, the increase in annual global temperature will continue. Massive eruptions of volcanoes or the sun's energy can also contribute to global warming, but human action is the primary contributor. The planet is an interconnected system; therefore, climate change has effects beyond temperature increases. As a result, alterations to one area impact all other areas, including security, housing, food, job, and healthcare. Due to its significant effects on various systems, climate change should be addressed through psychological methods that alter human behavior and promote long-term thinking.
