I agree with the post discussion as it portrays the fused relationship between nursing theory and practice. Both nursing theory and nursing practice concepts aim at improving the quality of healthcare and the patient's experience. Evidence-based practice (EBP) has been a major driving force toward improving nursing practice outcomes (Younas & Quennell, 2019). For instance, the nursing practice focuses on caring-based practice where human health experience and illness are applied in the treatment and the diagnosis process to restore the patient's health, support health, and promote healthy living patterns (Beeber, Palmer, Waldrop, Lynn, & Jones, 2019). Also, theory-guided nursing practice's main objective is to improve the quality of care. It helps nurses investigate a particular health condition to understand why a specific action is crucial in promoting the patient's recovery process.
