Organizational development

to enhance organization performance by modifying organization culture.
Organization development (OD) practices include aligning the managerial procedures,
strategy, metrics, and people with the organization's objective (Gallos, 2006).
Effective OD involves using reliable and valid information, enhancing internal
creativity and flexibility, committing and integrating organizational goals,
and creating a conducive internal working environment and culture (Gallos,
2006). It also aims to increase collaboration, manage conflicts, and make
informed decisions. Therefore, OD involves long-term effort, action-oriented,
behavioral change, commitment, collaboration, and whole system planning.
