Frameworks
are employed to comprehend how the ideas utilized in data processing are
related to one another. As a result, researchers frequently choose one of the
words and use it consistently throughout their investigation. Theories are
developed to comprehend, predict, and explain occurrences. For instance, the
study would build models based on patient identification as a research issue,
such as algorithmic techniques and unique patient identifiers. The key topics
of discussion will be the theoretical foundation for research and the
utilization of theoretical and conceptual frameworks in qualitative research.
Therefore, conceptual and theoretical framework theories play a crucial role in
research analysis, given their significance in developing a concept map and
basis for patient identification.
Frameworks
in research
A
theoretical framework offers a focal point for tackling the uncharted in a
particular domain. It is necessary to develop a theory to demonstrate why the
existing relationship exists if, after implementing the theory, some connection
is discovered between one or more variables (Green, 2014). As mentioned earlier, a conceptual
framework for the study will be constructed, and notions will be shown using
the theories and data that are now accessible to solve problems and direct the
research.
Which
theories have others cited?
Due to
the increasingly descriptive character of research, constructs are employed
more frequently in qualitative studies. However, researchers also employed the
other since quantitative research frequently uses the other theoretical
framework (Connely, 2014). As
said, the conceptual models could test out superior concepts. For instance, I
used the patient identification theory with other theories to develop a
conceptual framework for my research. The idea included Unique Patient
Identifiers and Algorithmic methods to gather adequate data for analysis.
Several variables will be taken from patients, clients, and healthcare
professionals to create a predictable match of patient identification (Riplinger et al., 2020). Additionally, the framework
will have an adaptive model, including input, control process, effectors, and
output. Stimuli and role functions were connected to coping strategies and
physiological-physical effectors to generate an adaptive response during the
input stage. A feedback loop would be invoked to change the conceptual map if
the procedure produced an inadequate answer (Riplinger et al., 2020). As a result, the research
needs to incorporate many conceptual and theoretical frameworks.
Are
you seeing a common theme? In the theoretical framework, a researcher uses a
query to find information. Conceptual, on the other hand, is something that has
to be demonstrated. These are the same themes, yet there are diverse ways to
represent them (Green, 2014). A
researcher must create a conceptual framework supported by some of the
literature's existing theoretical frameworks (Green, 2014). Normally, a conceptual model cannot be
sustained without employing theoretical perspectives.
Overall,
conceptual and theoretical framework theories play a crucial role in research
analysis, given their significance in developing a concept map and basis for
patient identification. As a crucial step in the research process, research
cannot begin without knowledge of the fundamental ideas. Additionally, creating
any conceptual framework is crucial in the research process. By developing a
conceptual framework, a researcher may better understand the key ideas
underlying their study design, how they relate to one another, and how they
will be measured in the future. Therefore, using both conceptual and
theoretical frameworks is vital in the patient identification process.
