In the united states, there exists the notion that anyone can succeed as long as they are capable of putting in the effort and working hard. However, this ideology works for some people but not all who work hard. Some people succeed through hard work, while others spend their lifetime toiling in vain. Also, some work less but succeed more than those that work hard. Therefore, hardworking is not a determinant of success in the united states. Consequently, I disagree with the statement that everyone in the united states can succeed and accrue wealth only if they are willing to work hard.
