Religion is among the most
important social institutions. This is because it helps answer questions
regarding human existence, life after death, and supernatural beings (God) and
instills morals that help in enhancing order in society. Therefore, the institution
of religion's dominant narratives revolves around the issue of death, hell,
heaven, and life, and people spend their life trying to stick to the norms to
avoid premature deaths and punishment after death.
