The information and
ideas in this lesson can be used in teaching in several different ways. For
instance, culturally competent education may be used to analyze, plan,
implement, and evaluate student learning concerning supporting students of
other ethnicities and their challenges. Additionally, various educational
approaches may be employed to raise the standard of instruction youngsters get
to succeed both in and outside the classroom. Given the ideas, I can now
approach my job goals more cautiously. Many of my classmates and the material
we studied helped me realize the enormous biases people possess, whether they are
conscious of them or not. It's pretty depressing to see how much prejudice
still exists in our society, but when I become a certified teacher, I aim to
flatten this curve. Since I have never seen such disgusting behavior or bias,
as shown in this unit, my knowledge of these biases is theoretical. Today's
cultures need to place a larger priority on cultural safety so that we may
build an environment where everyone is treated fairly. Thus, this unit has
given me the freedom to breathe, free from bias, and ready for any judgment
that may come my way when I regard everyone as equal.
