1.Why do you think early Europeans believed Africa did not form part of human history?The information I learned from the film "Africa a History denied" did not startle me. This video taught me that white people, long before enslavement, had distorted and changed the history of Africa. For instance, the fundamental goal of the movie was to portray Europeans as the forerunners of African civilization (Ancient World, 2017). Even the validity of African culture has been disputed, such as the remaining ruins. Additionally, Africa was depicted by Europeans as the depraved contrast of Europe. Europe's general supremacy would be obvious in comparison with and in contradiction to this image. Thus, Europe's perception of itself was grounded on its acuity of Africa (Ancient World, 2017). As a result, Africa is characterized exclusively in terms of how it was colonized, civilized, and divided, and any curiosity in how the continent was previously is satisfied outside the curriculum.
