1)Create an
infographic about 5 strategies (tools or techniques) of different types to
stimulate the thinking, critical and creative, that favors the best decision
making.
2)Create a Summary (Abstract)
of at least 500 words of the content of the Infographic.
To achieve the above it is
necessary:
1- Present the information
in depth.
2- Select the literature and
processed your opinion, the main aspects etc.
3- Add short texts (Chunk),
that summarize the content.
4- Decide the number of messages to be
included in the infographic,
5- Search and select the images that are
related to each drawn text
6-Be creative and add colors.
Decision-making is a critical
skill people must acquire as they navigate their lives. Various researchers
explain that humans spend 37% of their time daily making decisions that
influence their present and future behaviors. Decision-making is important in
the whole sphere of a human being's life, hence the need for individuals to
learn to be better at their decision-making. Making better decisions is
integral to personal, social, and professional success. Whether as a child, or
an adult, one needs to make sound decisions that impact their life positively.
Hence, the need for individuals to incorporate or apply different techniques in
their decision-making to help them become critical, creative, and better
decision-makers.
An individual is considered a good decision-maker when
their decisions give a better outcome, and these decisions are reached
critically and creatively. If one intends to become a good decision-maker,
there are some skills and values that one needs to practice to better their
decision-making skills. Some of the values are open-mindedness which lets them
reduce their biases, which may sway their decision-making on various issues and
situations. Good decision-makers make the best decisions when they think rationally
by looking at the alternatives and consequences presented by each decision and
involving other parties when necessary to shape their final decisions. Hence,
for an individual to be a critical, creative decision-maker, they need to
incorporate techniques that better their decision-making and make it critical. These
are various strategies that can incorporate to stimulate the thinking that
favors the best decision-making. These strategies include; exploration, which
allows one to have an around the perception of things, and with exploration,
one’s curiosity is piqued; hence one can ask questions and investigate a
workaround of various things. Such exploration helps an individual gather
evidence and have many alternatives from which they can make their best
conclusions. Hence they end up making the most creative and critical decisions.
Exploration also calls for sharing thoughts, experiences, and ideas when making
decisions around complex issues (Neubauer et al., 2019). The other techniques are
mind mapping, which helps solve problems and unlocks your creativity, helping
you develop more creative decisions (Bates, 2019). Hence, it is a good strategy
to help come up with more critical and creative ideas.
The other strategy is roleplaying, which allows you to
develop ideas based on possible interactions and circumstances. This strategy
is critical in a company that manufactures products and comes up with ideas for
a product and its marketing to appeal to a larger customer base (Cheng et al.,
2020). Thus, top leaders and other relevant stakeholders should incorporate
roleplaying to help make the best decisions. There is also the re-conceptualizing
problems strategy, which is critical in one's decision-making process. Such a
technique allows you to take a step back and examine a situation or problem
from another angle, have a different mindset, and consider other alternatives
and perceptions (Mullins et al., 2022). Brainstorming is another strategy an
individual or group can partake in to become better, creative, and critical
decision-makers. This strategy allows people to open up and discuss and share
their thoughts with others freely, and through that, they come up with better
decisions (Grabowski et al., 2022). These strategies make up most of the
techniques that individuals, groups, and leaders apply to come up with the most
critical, creative, and better decisions on various issues in their day-to-day
lives.
