D‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍iscuss the teaching decisions you will make for EBD stu‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍dents based on three articles. Can include more source. You are only doing the instructional implications part. You can skim through the 3 articles I picked (summaries of the articles and links are in the edu 285 research paper part 2 doc). When writing the instructional decisions you will make, make stuff up! Justifying Instructional Decisions; As a professional educator, you will make many vital decisions about how to support the growth and learning of your students. These decisions should be based upon relevant research and theory in the field. In this assessment, you will explore current peer reviewed research and theory about the students you will teach and the best approaches to teaching them. You must choose one topic for your research and have that topic approved by your instructor. For example, you might search for articles about students who are struggling readers, students who are twice exceptional learners, or students who are both ENL and have exceptionalities. The studies you read will analyze a specific situation and present findings about effective and ineffective ways to work with these students. After exploring multiple options, you will select strong sources, analyze their strengths and weaknesses, and summarize their findings. You will then discuss the instructional decisions that you would make based upon these sources.

Analyzing Articles: You must select and analyze at least 3 peer reviewed journal articles. For each article, write a brief annotation (see below for prompts) that summarizes the study procedures and findings and evaluates its strengths and weaknesses. You will justify your choice of article and may compare it to others you read.

Instructional Implications: This is the so what part of your paper. Analyze and address how what you learned in the first part of your paper will influence your planning of learning experiences, assessment of student performances, classroom practices… You must make specific connections between what you learned and the instructional decisions you will make. Describe at least 3 specific decisions that you will make based upon the research that you reviewed. Cite the sources of the information that influenced each decision in this section of your paper using APA format.

Expert Solution

For various reasons, behavioral difficulties provide a considerable challenge for educators and students. For instance, since institutions are not healthcare facilities, instructors cannot be expected to handle these issues. Students with these problems go to the doctor and may be given medicine. Instructors might not be cognizant of how medicine has altered a student's conduct since medical details are secret. Therefore, it can be difficult to respond appropriately to such activities. Additionally, children with these illnesses might be unable to meet behavioral and educational norms. If this is the case, the students will require special education services and may need to be placed in a special learning classroom. However, educators can use various strategies under instructional decisions such as peer tutoring, targeted classroom interventions, and function-based behavior interventions in a structured environment which supports growth to improve and enhance the learning process of learners with emotional and behavioral syndromes.
