Expert Solution

The topic of inclusion has become a growing issue in schools today. Some individuals believe it is beneficial, while others say it is not, especially for the students. Despite inclusion positively impacting the students learning, it has posed disadvantageous in several ways. One, inclusion may result in teachers paying more attention to the children with disabilities and spending less time and energy focusing on the rest of the students. According to SEDL (n.d), in inclusion, teachers must direct their attention toward a few members of the class, especially those with disabilities. However, this makes it difficult for teachers to teach as they have a range of abilities to cater to.
