Week 1: Discussion Board

Barack Obama is one of the greatest leaders I have known and has inspired me in many ways. The former president of the U.S.A., Obama, exhibited a transformational leadership style, good communication skills, and a charismatic personality, which inspired many individuals globally. He demonstrated his leadership skills throughout his tenure, from his early days as a community organizer to his time in the White House as president. Empathy in leadership is one of the significant lessons I learned from him. Barack Obama emphasized understanding other individuals' perspectives and enhanced an emotional connection with them. Moreover, he demonstrated the skill by actively listening to the citizens' needs and concerns, showing compassion, and eventually taking the necessary steps to address them. In addition to his profound communication skills, his speeches were well articulated as he used his words to portray a vision of a better future for his country.
