Write a one-page paper (single
spaced) on what type of mindset you think you have- give me some examples- do
you need to reexamine your mindset? Use my mindset and come up with some
examples associated with my mindset. My mindset is mostly positive and
growing. I learn from my mistakes and always look at failure as learning. The
only thing I need to reexamine is my mindset turns negative when something
doesn't go the way I want it to multiple times for the same task.
"When
life hands you lemons, make lemonade." This saying reminds us that a
positive experience does not have to be the end of everything. The truism means
that bad times can also become bearable. My attitude is mostly upbeat and
growing. I learn from my mistakes and always look at failure as a learning
opportunity. A positive mindset helps me have the mental energy needed to
function well in all aspects of life. The mindset takes essential and powerful
forms such as acceptance, optimism, and resilience.
Despite
all the efforts I put into reaching my goals, I know that some things will
still not work out. I've learned to accept such circumstances and move on with
my life. Acceptance helps one to maintain perspective and cultivate a positive
mindset (Nowicki, ND & Murray, 2020). It
allows one to assert their own needs and helps us to understand why others feel
the way they feel. This approach creates cooperation and mutual respect. It is
imperative that we accept the situation of our reality in order to work out how
to change our future for the better.
An
optimistic attitude has allowed me to have a positive outlook on my problems
and the existence of diversity. It has allowed me to deal with life's
challenges more productively. Instead of telling myself that something will not
work, I say, "I can try and make it work." Optimism reveals itself as
the readiness to take a chance and make an effort rather than assuming the
current situation will never improve. A positive individual will take a chance
and work on getting better rather than wait for the world to dictate his fate.
The
only thing I need to reexamine is my mindset, which turns negative when
something doesn't go the way I want it to. I have been faced with this scenario
multiple times. However, I have learned to be resilient, optimistic and mindful
of the current situation. Additionally, I have tried to be conscious and become
aware of how the universe works. I try to have a positive mindset often because
I know it is essential for the development of my mental health and improves my
connection with family and friends.
