Research Methodology

The methodology for this study was mixed-method research. For primary data collection, the study adopted a quantitative approach that involved administering a  survey through google forms. According to Rahi (2017), surveys are a popular research strategy in social sciences associated with a deductive research approach. Additionally, predesigned questionnaires and interviews are primarily used in this strategy for information collection (Rahi, 2017). The survey was in the form of a questionnaire divided into five sections. Each section had questions constructed around self-care and journaling. The survey's primary purpose was to reveal the relevance and efficacy of journaling as a self-care strategy for Title IX workers. The link to the questionnaire was shared with active practitioners in the state of Texas. The data was then recorded onto google sheets for adequate analysis and evaluation.
