Using the
attached proposal, literature review and annotated bibliography, write a
discussion, conclusion and abstract to go along with the paper. Please use the
sample paper as a reference without plagarizing. The discussion section should
thoroughly address the thesis and answer both research questions from the lit
review. The discussion must evaluate and interpret the implications of research
findings like whether findings demonstrate support or non-support for thesis,
and explore similarities and differences among different sources. The
conclusion must start with a summary paragraph that paraphrases and comments on
the importance of your findings and end with a wrap-up
paragraph. The conclusion must include a paragraph on limitations of this
research paper, one paragraph on future research to correct those
limitations/gaps, and one paragraph on practical applications of this research
to emphasize its use in the real world. The abstract must be a 120 – 150 word
summary of the whole paper. It can be one or two paragraphs. It must preview
the research question, significance, essential findings in the lit review (i.e., preview the sections), summarize
the discussion, and limitations and future applications/research
recommendations will also be included.
The
paper begins with information about cross-cultural families, where topics such
as the effects of cross-cultural upbringing on socialization and communication
patterns within an Asian family are discussed. After that, the specific purpose
of the research paper, which is to investigate if the socialization of Asian
families influences their communication patterns and values, is presented.
Subsequently, the research method used in this paper, which is a qualitative
approach focusing on a single family and how they were impacted by
cross-cultural upbringing, is mentioned. Information about the participants in
this research is provided next. The participants included American and Asian
families with different generational age ranges, which allowed for an adequate
number of participants with varying experiences ideal for the research.
