Each
student should read Bartholomew and Goheen, Bates, Bock, and McKnight in
preparation for this assignment. In examining the metanarrative structures
offered by these authors (and others if desired), the student should construct
their own metanarrative framework. This framework should show awareness of both
major essential narratological elements in Scripture as well as the basics
features of narrative and plot construction. The student will write a
draft outline outlining their metanarrative (with support from Scripture and at
least 5 academic resources) providing an overview of their
