Question 1;Organizations use different
strategies to socialize new employees. For instance, when I first joined an
employer, I was socially integrated through orientation and training in the
organization's departments (Malik & Manroop, 2017). However, the
organization could have enhanced my socialization experience by assigning me a
mentor who could guide me and answer my questions regarding the organization's
structure, culture, and production process, among others (Malik & Manroop,
2017). Also, modifying training by engaging my prior knowledge could create a
transformative experience and reinforce my expertise and confidence to take on
new roles. Having a welcome package and creating awareness across the
organization of new employees could enhance the relationship between employees
and create a sense of belonging (Malik & Manroop, 2017). Thus, assigning a
mentor, modifying onboarding training and a welcome package, and notifying the
employees of a new employee could help enhance socialization and strengthen
interpersonal relationships in the organization
