I
have to talk about stress and illness in adults such as cardiovascular
diseases, cancer, and depression. The information and
references cannot be from google or wikipedia.
Stress has been associated
with various illnesses affecting the adult population. Therefore, the
association between cardiovascular disease, cancer, and depression with stress
in adults will provide crucial insights into the role stress plays in
mitigating adult well-being.Cardiovascular diseases have been extensively
associated with stress. Oxidative stress is the underlying mechanism for
numerous adult diseases, such as cardiovascular disease (Rodríguez-Rodríguez, 2018). Therefore, adults
are at a higher risk of developing this disease if exposed to oxidative stress.
Additionally, work or private life stress are risk factors for developing
cardiovascular disease in adults (Kivimäki &
Steptoe, 2018). This impact of stress on disease development is not only
limited to cardiovascular diseases since it is also a risk factor for the
progression and development of depression. Generally, different forms of stress
are risk factors associated with depression and cardiovascular disease.
