Summarize
the influence of nature and nurture on developme
Conventionally, children were
perceived as blank slates, a view that put undue pressure on parents to mold
their child's development via actions. However, scientific research has
contested this view. Children are not born with a clean slate; their genes
influence certain aspects of their conduct and character. However, genes do not
completely control a child's development as their environment also plays a
significant role. Therefore, nature and nurture influence development, as my
personal development exemplifies.
