Hi, hope everything is well. The requirements for this paper is to replicate a study on a client I worked with. I am expected to identify my client with whom I'm working in need of an intervention due to either an initial identified problem behavior, instructional deficit that precludes progress toward achieving a specific goal, or a skill deficit across any area of deficit that requires specific programming. I already did the literature review on 4 articles that I will provide for this paper for you to read. I have to write a method section that includes participants (which is only my client), setting (ABA center), materials (bubbles, m&m's, water wow), independent and dependent variables, and specific procedures of implementation. I will provide descriptions of my client that will be talked about in this paper, and data that was taken for the method section.
Graphs are included. The baseline of this paper is my client would not sit at the table and do work. The goal is to use positive reinforcement to get her to sit in her seat by using bubbles, m&ms, or water wow as the reinforcer. Bubbles has been a top reinforcer for her. The replication of positive reinforcement has worked so the results after the intervention would be high. Include a results section, discussion section (include limitations of the study and how it can be extended), and include references using correct APA 7th edition format. I will provide the word document of the literature review which is a place where you can continue writing the paper on. I will provide more information about the client and data on the client. The data I will provide is the tantrums my client caused for being prompted to sit at the table, sit at the table data which is a duration of how long my client sat at the table, and one-step directions. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you
Participant(s)The participant is a 3-year-old female who attends the ABA program. Prior to her move to the institution, she had never received any ABA treatments and is a nonverbal communicator but is currently learning and using FCT. Three times weekly, the participant attends solo speech therapy sessions before the intervention sessions. Before receiving ABA therapy, the participant was not used to a fixed routine or a classroom structure.
Participant’s ;challenging behaviourThe participant has been instanced to show case various challenging behaviours, such as staff and peer aggression, property destruction and self-injurious behavior (SIB). These challenges will act as the focus of the intervention where various reinforcers will be used to alter the participant’s conduct.
