Psychology
is the study of the mind and human behavior. How are our actions related to our
minds? People from different cultures have been thinking about the working of
the mind since the beginning of history. The earliest roots of psychology can
be traced back to Greek philosophers, the prominent ones being Plato and his
student Aristotle. The history of psychology laid the foundation for developing
a field with diverse disciplines that support understanding the working of the
mind and body through developing theories and monitoring human behavior in
practice.
